FAMILY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Want to spend time working together and having a blast? We have plenty of family-friendly projects. Bring the whole gang and play with us in the dirt!
A sample of family volunteer opportunities include:
- Pearlstone’s Edible Entrance: Design and/or plant a beautiful garden for Pearlstone guests to enjoy as they enter our building
- Havdallah Garden: Design and/or plant this sprice garden right outside Pearlstone’s front door
- Native Flower Planting: Support our honey bees and other pollinators by planting native flowers and plants throughout our land
- Food Intensive: work on the farm helping out with the myriad of activities that go on to grow healthy, organic produce for our community!
- Blazing the Chesapeake Trail: We are blazing a 3 mile trail from Pearlstone to Liberty Reservoir, so that we can walk all the way to the Bay! Come out and help us blaze!
- Erosion Bars: Prevent damaging water erosion on the path from the Pearlstone Conference Center to the farm.
