Pearlstone’s Sukkot retreat is a joyous, diverse, and nature-filled gathering for Jews of all ages and backgrounds.

We have two main types of lodging – standard rooms feature private bathrooms with one or two queen beds, while the Garden Lodge Dorms have twin beds and mostly shared bathrooms. Children’s rates assume sharing a room with at least one adult (13+), regardless of lodging style. More details about our lodging options can be found here.

Rabbi Psachyah Lichtenstein
Rabbi Psachyah is a teacher, naturalist, and artist. He has served the community teaching the Torah of the Earth in both the US and Israel for over 20 years.
Psachyah has raised sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, dogs, bees, and his children.
Joey Weisenberg
Joey Weisenberg is the Founder and Director of Hadar’s Rising Song Institute and is the author of Building Singing Communities and The Torah of Music, winner of a 2017 National Jewish Book Award. A devoted student and teacher of traditional Jewish melodies, Joey’s Master Classes have enabled students worldwide to study Jewish song and prayer. Joey also composes new nigunim that have moved and inspired thousands.
Julie Tonti
Julie Tonti is a Potter, Jewish Educator and Yoga Teacher residing outside Washington, DC. You can learn more about her business, Claybrook Yoga and Pots here: Claybrookyogaandpots.com. She is working on a Graphic Novel about the life and legacy of Glikl of Hamelin. Glikl.com with her husband, Mat Tonti. She enjoys spending time in nature and laughing with her 3 children.
Rabbi Matisyahu Tonti
Rabbi Matisyahu Tonti can be found dancing, drawing, and singing
with his three children and wife. He received a certificate in
Jewish Philosophy and Pedagogy from the Shalom Hartman
Institute and Smicha from Yeshivat Sulam Ya’akov in Jerusalem.
Avram Mlotek
Avram Mlotek is a rabbi, cantor, actor, writer and social worker. Grandchild of Holocaust refugees and Yiddish cultural leaders, he is the co-founder of Base now operating in ten cities. Mlotek is the author of two books (Why Jews Do That, Passover in a Pandemic) and works as a psychotherapist at Blanton-Peale Institute and Counseling Center in New York. He is the proud Tati to Ravi, Hillel Yosl and Shabtai.
Rabbi Gabe Greenberg
Rabbi Gabe Greenberg is the Executive Director at Penn Hillel. Gabe has worked in pluralistic Jewish settings around the country, including serving as a congregational rabbi in New Orleans, and co-founder of the legendary Summer Beit Midrash program here at Pearlstone. Gabe lives in West Philly with his family.
