Explore 180-Acres Of Rolling Hills
Generous soil, clean air, and pure water are the first and most fundamentally necessary gifts we hold in our hands as we embrace this land. It is actually becoming your body as you drink, breath, and eat it here. For ourselves, our community, and our visitors we shape an offering of these gifts in the form of profound sensory experiences. The Pearlstone Center sits on 180 acres of forest, fields and meadows. We’ve developed our campus with amenities to help guests develop deep, meaningful connections with the land and environment. Some amenities include wooded trails, a 2-acre pond, sport fields and an educational farm.
The Farm: harvesting and serving food to our retreat, program, and event guests – in collaboration with our talented chefs – we offer each person the opportunity to connect to this land with the delicious, yet uncommon dining experience of eating foods that were grown within view of their plate. For everyone who is seeking the opportunity to share in the harvest we grow UPick berries to harvest together each spring and offer a rich array of hands-on farm-based educational programs. The farm is in the center of our land to share the abundance of the seasons with all of our guests and program participants. Everyone is invited to stroll through our certified organic vegetable gardens, greet our animals, and find a cozy spot to sit and be here.
Stewarding the Land: our entire farm and all of our facilities are nestled within the container of meadows, forests, and streams. From the beautiful views outside of your window to the ecological landscaping outside the door, this land is calling you to explore its paths and breath in its abundance. Learn more here!
The Hiking Trail: the trail at Pearlstone is a versatile 2.2-mile loop surrounding our property. You can do just a portion or explore the whole trail!
The Meditation Garden: perfect for enjoying quiet time individually or as a group, our Meditation Garden offers serene natural surroundings for contemplative thinking and personal reflection.
We embody, teach and inspire the practice of environmental sustainability. We make the environmentally friendly choice whenever possible, including everything from recycled copy paper to supplies such as toilet paper and tissues. The water in our Kitchen is heated using a Solar Hot Water Heater, and scraps from kitchen prep go directly to our own compost which is used on our farm. We are always looking for ways to be more green on our own property, and we are leading initiatives to inspire others to do the same around the community.
